Description:
Gdansk is one of the most beautiful cities in Poland. It is also considered as one of the most attractive cities of Northern Europe. Feel the specific historical harbour atmosphere of the Old Town. The tour includes the very best of old Gdansk, Gdynia and Sopot – regarded as the summer capital of Poland, with sunny beaches and the longest wooden pier in Europe.
Tour Program:
Gdansk – you will have an opportunity to see the old harbour with the Crane Gate - Gdansk's the most characteristic building, the Long Market with its Neptune Fountain and the Artus Court. You will also see the Main Town Hall with the famous Gdansk carillon, the magnificent Arsenal, the Millenium Tree, St. Mary's Church with its astronomical clock and many other beautiful sights of Gdansk. You will be able to walk along Mariacka Street, famous for its charming terraces full of amber jewellery.
Gdynia - is one of the youngest Polish cities. Eighty years ago it was a small village. Nowadays, this important harbour and business centre is bustling with life. It plays the role of one of Poland’s major seaports and a major shipbuilding area. The great attractions of the city are two ships-museums, the frigate Dar Pomorza (The Gift of Pomerania) and the destroyer Blyskawica (The Lightning)
Sopot - the smallest town of the Tricity metropolis, situated just between Gdansk and Gdynia. Its population of only 40,000 is modest in comparison with the 2 million tourists who visit it every summer. Beside the bustling "Monciak" Boulevard, there are some charming peaceful areas where you may enjoy Art Nouveau villas and the great attraction of Sopot - the famous 500 metres wooden pier.
